Version 1.0, last updated November 5, 2026.

Countaline is made by The Vera Standard, a small studio in Hyderabad, India. This page says, in plain words, what we keep, why, who can see it, and how you take it with you. If anything here is unclear, write to theverastandard@gmail.com.

Right now: the website and the founding offer

Countaline is not open for real records yet. Today, only these things happen:

We use your email only to tell you about your membership and the first version of Countaline. We do not add you to other lists, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

When Countaline opens: what we will store

When you start using Countaline for your church or group, we will store:

WhatWhy
Your organisation's name and address, funds, counts, entries and reportsThis is the record-keeping you came for.
Names, and if you add them, addresses and emails of givers or member families, and their gift or payment amountsSo you can make giving statements or member receipts.
Names and email addresses of the treasurer, counters and board members you inviteSo they can sign in and so the record shows who did what.
A log of who created, changed, signed or locked each record, and whenSo there is a clear trail if a question comes up later.

Your organisation decides what goes in. You hold the records about your givers or families; we keep them on your behalf and use them only to run Countaline for you.

The PTA and booster club edition asks for a family display name only. Please do not enter students' names, grades or ages.

Who can see it

Where it is kept

Your records will be kept with established cloud hosting providers. We will list each provider that handles your data, and the region where it is stored, on this page before Countaline opens.

How we protect it

No system is perfectly safe. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell your treasurer by email as soon as we know what happened and what we are doing about it.

What we do not do

Cookies

These pages use no tracking cookies. When Countaline opens, it will use one cookie that keeps you signed in, and nothing else.

Changes to this page

If we change this page in a way that matters, we will email founding members and customers before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
