Two-counter count
1. A Sunday count that two people sign.
Two counters enter the offering. Both sign off, and the total locks so it cannot be quietly changed. If a mistake turns up later, you add a correction that is linked to the count.
Replaces: the count sheet, the paper slip in the folder, and the "did anyone check this?" worry.
2. Funds that stay separate.
Keep General, Building, Missions and any other fund apart. See what is in each one at any time.
Replaces: the spreadsheet with one tab per fund and a total you have to re-check.
3. A board report in one click.
Each month, get a PDF with balances by fund, income and expenses, and the counts with both signers. Add a short note of your own.
Replaces: the evening you spend building the report from scratch.
4. Year-end giving statements.
Make a statement for each giver. It lists each gift with its date and amount. You add your own wording at the bottom.
Replaces: the January mail merge and the hand-copied gift lists.
Handover
5. A real handover.
When a new treasurer takes over, they get the full history, the funds, the balances and the past reports in one click. You can also export everything to CSV or PDF at any time.
Replaces: the box of files, the "where is the password?" email, and the lost year of history.
